What I've Learned Playing Rakano Burn | Eternal Card Game
25Hey there! It's time for another discussion piece on what I've learned playing Rakano Burn for the past 6 months or so. This episode has been a long time coming and I'm glad I'm finally doing a video on a deck that pretty much never sees play. I'm the only one that I've seen play it to be honest. The removal of the Powersurge mechanic which led to the nerfs to Charchain Flail and Flame Blast effectively killed this deck. With the introduction of Crimson Firemaw and now the nerf to Bartholo, a domino effect has been created with Lethrai Falchion (and Argenport in general) seeing less play for the time being. Now I feel Fire-based aggro decks like Rakano Burn have a chance to once again get a foothold in the meta.
As usual, I'll talk about the history of this archetype, a few card choices that are outside of the norm, previous cards that I've tested that have since been removed from the deck and the future of the archetype. This might not be a tier 1 or even a tier 2 deck, but Rakano Burn is a concept that has proven itself in the past in Eternal (personal Season 7 Master before Omens released and rank 2 Master by others in Closed Beta) and has the potential to prove itself again in the future.
