23Decision: Red Daze is a unique variation of the isometric Action/RPG with elements of survival and tower defense simulation.
Dust Cauldron was once a "thriving" world of corrupt politicians and wealthy landlords, as well as ordinary working people who toiled "quite voluntarily" for the former. Now a mysterious contagion, known among survivors as "red fever," has gripped it. The disease turns people into insane and EXTREMELY dangerous mutants, and the authorities watch helplessly. The few survivors are left to fight off the monsters in the hope that someday there will be a way to end the red fever once and for all.
PLAY AS ANYONE YOU WANT.
Even a rank-and-file survivor can lead a squad, explore and make the wasteland safer and arrange their own fate. It's up to you to improve the survivors found in the wasteland and give them specialization.
EXPLORE, COLLECT TROPHIES, CAPTURE
Most of the buildings in the Dust Cauldron are long abandoned and occupied by the undead, but they can provide precious trophies and shelter for survivors. During search missions, you'll find farms, factories, and military facilities that are teeming with monsters and full of loot. Most importantly, you can develop well-fortified settlements in place of long abandoned structures.
YOUR OWN SHELTER
Survivors from across the wasteland flock to the settlements in search of protection and you should find them suitable occupations. Have them build factories to produce food, gather resources or create goods for trade, and build and upgrade defensive structures. Assign your best soldiers to defend settlements while you're away, or take on ferocious monsters in person!
STUDY THE OPPONENTS
A monster pack is always led by a pack leader. Plan your strategy and pick a squad of experts to improve your chances of survival. Conduct sorties and explore the area. Gather data on monster movements to better protect your settlements, or hunt down bosses to destroy them and end their attacks.
