For Rock and Stone! Yeaaahhh!

Welcome! This gameplay video is of my uncut, first Deep Dive mission in Deep Rock Galactic. I played it as a solo engineer just to get a sense of how this endgame activity works. Normally I would try and join others or host a session but don't like to link up with randoms if I'm not sure what is supposed to happen. So this is a blind run, but takeaways are below.

a) I did try the elite version and can say that the normal version is definitely training and can be soloed with a promoted dwar.

b) It is of critical importance to get your Nitra economy setup as early as possible to withstand the swarms. IMO everything else is secondary to having backup supply pods.

c) All of your experiences leveling up will payoff as you will want to be confident in open areas as well as tight spaces and dealing with any combination of objectives. The Deep Dive is 3 linked missions and failure can reset your progress. This can easily take up the average game session so tackle this mode with fresh energy.

d) Each week is a new set of dives shared by the DRG community and does not change during the week. This means multiple attempts should theoretically make things easier as you can make fresh attempts knowing what is coming.

Thanks for watching. May the dangerlands favor you.
