The Story
A new mineral Expenite, has incredible value and utility, it has been discovered within planet Hoxxes IV! Space mining company Deep Rock Galactic immediately sets up covert mining operations deeper than ever.
But without warning, all the dig sites go dark, and all contact is abruptly lost.

Rogue Core started off as a game mode for Deep Rock Galactic but quickly began to grow in scope and started hitting constraints, if the devs wanted it to exist within the Deep Rock framework Eg: equipment,
deep dives, economy etc.

They did an experiment where they didn't need to consider Deep Rock and
Rogue Core blossomed into something different. Something that could stand up on its own as a coop FPS Roguelite
