Def Jam Icon: Build a Label Playthrough - Part 8 [Final Part] (Hard Difficulty)
This game has a lot of nerve making me fight against the same opponent TWICE in a row. Who in the right mind would think this is such a good idea in the first place?
Kudo Tsunoda: Any ideas on how to make this game's final boss fight more challenging than FFNY?
Dev. Team: How about we make the player fight against a character that have just been introduced during the mid plot TWICE without any changes to the AI behaviors while maintaining the same stage filters and same fighting style.
I am so pissed that they low key half-assed the final fight in this game. The second fight against Wheatly is so dumb, pointless and a waste of time. It clearly shows that they actually try to prolong the game's crappy plot as long as possible. Then, those fans claim they actually like this game because of the plot. However, the truth is this game's whole plot is atrocious! There are a lot of plot holes here and there. There supposed to be a cutscene after you fought Greer at Troy's office but WHERE IS IT? Why does almost everyone not recognise the Playa's voice? How does the Playa know what Rush look like? Why didn't Wheatly just murdered the Playa with his gun? What happen to my artists after Wheatly's recordings got leaked? A lot of questions are left unanswered. The story sucks, even Flash Games have better story than this game.
What exactly were there going for with this game ? I honestly just don't see the correlation between building a record label and these random fights. This game literally throwing random fights at you. Why didn't the Playa just gave the mix tape to Wink if he already knew Wink is looking for new artists for Platinum's label? Why you need to fight Wink for the 'audition'? Why making me play as Gooch in the first place to fight against E-40 and Paul Wall? Why chose Paul Wall among other artists to get the mix tape for the 'audition'? I only need to play 2 fights in this final part but this game doesn't like that so it adds another 3 random fights for no reasons at all.
*Sigh* Whatever, I'm done with this dumpster fire crap...
