In this part we take a tour of which apps ship with elementary OS by default, and we present the core functionality of each one.

By default on elementary OS, you won't find standard GNOME / KDE / Linux apps. elementary OS has customized its selection of programs to stick to a coherent interface and design style.
YOu'll find no title bars here, or extraneous features, only the basics are available, what will serve most users.

You'll get a pretty competent file manager, a good enough web browser, a nice Photo manager, a feature complete Music player, as well a camera software, an email client, a calendar, and more.
