Defcon Deterrence Mod Gameplay PC Game Patch Version
7Well this was not easy to get working. Here you go. I almost gave up but tried again and again since the instructions are a little vague. You have to rename the "main.dat" to "main.rar" and then extract the file which gives access to all the games code, files and graphics. That is the easy part. Next replace some specific files and folders outlined in the instructions and run the zip file extractor in the folder to replace the game application exe with the new deterrence version. Only replace the game Defcon file not the 2 or 3 things it asks about that is shows already exist. First time I just replaced everything and it didn't work. If you are trying to play this mod with the given mod instructions, I have the "main.dat" file returned to normal from the .rar and I also am showing the "data" file in the game folder like it is a "mod" folder, if you familiar with modding this game. It just means in the Defcon folder there is now a folder called "data" now with the required files in it. I'll update if I actually figure it out 100% how I did it right.
