definitely a skill issue: I suck at this hard game (Crash Bandicoot 4 Clips by Bizarre)
1no, seriously. the game is extremely hard when you try to go for all the boxes, gems and tapes.
forget platinum. even the world record speedrunner falls off at times.
the game has very poorly made depth perception. I love the design and gameplay but BOY I fall down SO MANY times because of that bad depth perception and this weird fish eye style vision.
nothing beats the Crash Bandicoot games made by Naughty Dog. They don't have that distorted unnatural depth perception problem and getting a platinum trophy, while not easy, was doable.
this is stuffed with filler material (mirrored levels - WHY??? WHO CARES) and are clear signs of developers being LAZY.
don't get me wrong. the game is WELL MADE and the level design is FANTASTIC.
BUT. it would be so much better if the game wasn't filled to the brink with bloated uninspired level variation (mirrored levels - n'versed) and this depth perception problem. controlling Crash feels UNNATURAL, even after 25 hours of playing it. this has NEVER been an issue with the BRILLIANT OLD GAMES.
