Definitely Not Coded Poetry is a collection of poetry that contains exactly what it says. There are no secret messages, arcane excerpts, or misleading metaphors to be found here. If you are looking for coded poetry, you chose a poor book to read.
Plus, even if there were coded poems, they would clearly be addressed to somebody who is not you, so you should not bother trying to decode any of the poems, none of which are coded. Make sense?
P. N. Quinn writes poetry on all the usual elements of life: love, death, remarkable fast food, etc. He dabbles in all sorts of archaic forms of poetry, including sestinas, villanelles, and other evil-sounding work. His work is eccentric and original and (it must be stressed) contains no codes whatsoever.
