➡️ ब्राम्हण शब्द के दो अर्थ होते है … एक तो होता है ब्रम्हचर ओर दूसरा है ब्रम्ह का अंश। इसी तरह पंडित के भी दो अर्थ हैं एक तो है विद्वान ओर दूसरा है पण अर्थात धन लेकर खंडित अथवा मंडित होने वाला।
➡️ पुरातन काल मे पण लोभी ब्राम्हणों को ही पंडित कह कर पुकारते थे। वर्तमान युग मे ब्राम्हण ओर पंडित दोनो ही एक ही सन्दर्भ में प्रयुक्त किये जाते है। किन्तु अब ब्राम्हण शब्द अप्रासंगिक हो चुका है क्योंकि अब पण्डित तो मिल जाते है किन्तु ब्राम्हण अतिदुर्लभ है ।
🔴 चलिये सबसे पहले जानते है पंडित कौन होते है।
👉 जब कोई व्यक्ति किसी विशेष ज्ञान को प्राप्त कर उसमे पारंगत होता है तो उसे पांडित्य नाम से सम्भोधित किया जाता है। इसका पूर्णतः अर्थ होता है कि किसी विशेष ज्ञान में पूरी तरह से कुशल होना।
👉 इसमें एक शब्द का प्रयोग हुआ है पंडः जिसका अर्थ होता है विद्वता जिससे समझ आता है कि पंडित को विद्वान भी कहा जा सकता है। कुछ लोग इन्हे निपुण शब्द से भी पुकारते हैं।
👉 किसी भी विशेष विद्या का ज्ञान रखने वाले को पंडित कहा जाता है। अधिकतर संस्कृत और वेदों के विषय की जानकारी रखने वाले लोगों को पंडित नाम दिया गया है। पंडित को ही पाण्डेय, पाण्डे, पण्ड्या भी कहा जाता है। वर्तमान में यह नाम ब्रह्मणों का उपनाम बन चुका है।
🔴 अब जानते है ब्राह्मण कौन है
👉 ब्राह्मण शब्द की उतपत्ति ब्रह्म से हुई है जिसका अर्थ होता कि जो व्यक्ति ब्रह्म (ईश्वर) को छोड़ के किसी और को नहीं पूजता उसे ब्राह्मण नाम दिया गया है। कई लोग कथा सुनाने वाले को ब्राह्मण कहते हैं जबकि वो ब्राह्मण नहीं कथावाचक होता है।
👉 कुछ लोग पुरोहिताई करने वाले को ब्राह्मण कहते हैं वो ब्राह्मण नहीं याचक या पुरोहित होता है। कुछ लोग पंडित को ब्राह्मण समझते हैं जबकि वेदों का अच्छा ज्ञान रखने वाला पंडित होता है उसे हम ब्राह्मण नहीं कह सकते। जो ज्योतिषी या नक्षत्र विद्या को अपनी जीविका बना के चलते हैं कुछ लोग उन्हें भी ब्राह्मण समझ लेते हैं जबकि वो ज्योतिषी होते हैं
👉 ब्राह्मण का अर्थ सीधा सा यह है की जो व्यक्ति ब्रह्म शब्द का उच्चारण करता है उसे ही हम सही मायने में ब्राह्मण मानते हैं।

🔴 Let us first know who is a pandit.
👉 When a person acquires a particular knowledge and becomes proficient in it, then he is addressed by the name Panditya. It simply means to be completely proficient in a particular knowledge.
👉 A word has been used in this, pandaah, which means scholarship, which makes it understood that a pandit can also be called a scholar. Some people also call him by the word skillful.
👉 A person who has knowledge of any particular discipline is called a pandit. Most of the people who have knowledge of the subject of Sanskrit and Vedas have been given the name Pandit. Pandit himself is also called Pandey, Pandey, Pandya. At present this name has become the surname of Brahmins.

👉 The word brahmin is derived from brahma which would have meant that a person who does not worship anyone other than Brahma (God) has been given the name brahmin. Many people call the story teller a brahmin, while he is not a brahmin but a narrator.
👉 Some people call a priest who is a Brahmin, he is not a Brahmin, he is a petitioner or a priest. Some people consider a pandit to be a brahmin, whereas a pandit who has good knowledge of Vedas is not a brahmin.
👉 Those who follow astrologers or constellations as their livelihood, some people consider them to be Brahmins while they are astrologers. The meaning of Brahmin is simply that the person who utters the word Brahman, we consider him to be a Brahmin in the true sense.
