78It was neck and neck! They had become a blurred streak of unsurpassed kinetic energy at this point. The crowd didn't know whether to scream in excitement or worry but still they screamed! Kiryu struggled to keep in lane as he clashed with his rivial, locking eyes with one another all they could do was grit their teeth and grit in to the track ahead! The final corner, the notorious 'lane of lament'. No drifter had every successfully cleared this corner at the two were approaching it at break neck speed! Kiryu, the 20 year old drift dragon and Koji, a 10 year old kid. Unrelenting and unwilling to let their oppoenent inch ahead they've shifted in to yet a gear higher and pushed their pedals to the floor, slamming their heads back in to their seat. Their screams joined the crowd as they threw their wheels to the side, making drift history!
