Necromancer's Glitch
After losing your son in a tragic accident and being haunted by your failure to protect him, you have dedicated your life to the dark arts to somehow seek amends. Your studies of necromancy thus far have allowed you to reanimate the corpse of your son, though he is nothing but a mindless zombie bereft of a soul, capable only of shuffling awkwardly after you wherever you go. He is nothing but an empty vessel, useful only as a pack mule to hold your dark inventory.
You have journeyed long to finally arrive at Castle Glitch, the labyrinthine abode where legend speaks of a master necromancer, Briberius. It is said that Briberius sustains his own life with the souls of wicked men, feeding on their malice and absorbing their lifeforce into his being. Surely he has the requisite knowledge to help you return your son's soul to his body, returning him to the physical realm and undoing your life's greatest error.
You pry open the heavy iron door and step across the castle's threshold, pausing only for the shambling corpse of your son to pass through after you.
Finding Briberius in this tortuous maze will not be easy. Surviving the encounter will be yet harder. But, emboldened by hope, you take a step. Another step into the darkness.
