Welcome to a new series called "Delboy3k1's 8Bit Years.

Yes, this series will concentrate on my 8bit years of playing games and will cover all the computers that I owned during this period (1978 to 1987) but also games I have discovered through emulation.

This episode is for a game released by Commodore / Midway called - Omega Race released on the Vic 20 & Commodore 64 in 1982. The game was also released on the Atari 2600 and Colecovision 1983.

Although the arcade game in 1981 was a true Vector Graphic Game, the home ports generally were character graphics imitating vector lines and this was due to the limited hardware back in the day.

I hope you enjoy this series and look forward to discovering just how much fun you can have with these older systems. Of course a few stinkers will be in the mix LOL.
