This is a maxed Hell Layer clear of the "Reign" mode, which I swear is practically impossible as most factions but is somewhat reasonable as the Betrayers. My primary plan for this run was to play my champion "Vikrul" who upgrades to deliver additional damage with every spell, and get my deck slim enough to play many spell cards each turn - his built in ability to return to your hand when you cast a spell effectively made him into just a kicker for each spell that just had to be on the board at the end of the turn and could otherwise just get played over and over. This had the side effect of him often eating the initial 2 damage from playing in a lane for the first time from that hell layer modifier, so helped negate that downside. When I got a double cycle "Harness Soul", I just decided the benefits of duplicating that over and over would take precedence over purging my bad cards, since each would more than make up for one other bad card.

"Deliverance" and "Reign" are two completely distinct games that only really share art and a launch page: while Deliverance is a more traditional roguelike deckbuilder, Reign is heavily copying ideas from Monster Train. I have mixed feelings about these games, but did ultimately have fun most of the time.

Pros: Art, some fun card design and combos, mostly competent systems, responsive developer
Cons: Fundamentally doesn't feel very original, iffy balance, bugs (which I reported to the dev and are on the slate to be fixed)
