Reasons for removing this graphics card bracket are the following. If you want to add a two slot video card, or a two slot long video card. You may not always be able to add a two slot long video card if the heat sink assembly is too high, or if you have heat pipes that go too high as well. If you buy a Nvidia reference card which are usually flush, they will fit into this computer after you remove the graphics card bracket.
The ideal card to use in this computer would be a two slot reference video card, like a Geforce GTX 1050 ti , Geforce GTX 1060, or a Geforce GTX 1070. The Geforce GTX 1050 ti only requires a 300 watt power supply, and the Geforce GTX 1060 requires 400 watt psu. The Geforce GTX 1070 requires a 500 watt power supply. If you do get any of these cards, make sure they are EVGA cards which are Geforce GTX reference cards, or short 2 slot cards. MSI Geforce GTX long cards have modified heat sink assemblies, so they are higher than reference cards.
