Delta Force- Why No Console, Mobile, Campaign Released

In this video, I will cover most of the frequently asked questions by you guys.
Just to be clear, this info has nothing to do with any of the devs. It’s just that I wanted to answer most of the questions you’ve been asking since the officials are not allowed to talk openly about anything.
So, first and main question: Where is the console version?
Why no info is provided by the officials about the release date or anything?
Where is the mobile version?
Where is campaign mode Black Hawk Down?
The console version was in test, and it was revealed by Game Director Shadow in his previous dev stream. The game is ready for console, and the only thing the devs were working on was mainly the aim-assist—so that everything is fair for all platform players, ensuring PC platform players don’t get affected much by the aim assist. To deliver a fair gaming experience, they had to make sure everything is balanced.
The game was supposed to launch on console with the campaign mode on January 28th, and the mobile game was set to release on the 20th.
But then, on January 7th, the US Government Defense Department blacklisted gaming and social media giant Tencent and several Chinese technology companies, adding them to a list of businesses they believe have ties with the Chinese military by sharing data of its users.
Immediately after the release of this statement by the US government, Tencent's Hong Kong-traded shares fell 7.3%. This is a huge loss for the company. Though Tencent bought back a huge amount of shares the next day, the damage was significant.
However, Tencent says it is a mistake. The company claims it is neither a Chinese military company nor a military-civil fusion contributor to the Chinese defense industrial base. They firmly believe their inclusion in the CMC List is a mistake.
The company has postponed many other upcoming games this year. I believe this is the main reason they postponed the console and mobile release and also the campaign release in Delta Force.
Delta Force is owned by Tencent. Right now, if they release the game on console and mobile, it will impact their revenue. Until the blacklist issue is resolved, they don’t want to take any risks.
The US Government banned TikTok on the 19th, and games owned by Tencent are also at risk right now. TikTok is back for the next 75 days for US users, but it’s a delicate situation.
The company doesn’t want the impact of the blacklist statement to affect this game or their other upcoming titles scheduled for release this year. The US holds a massive portion of the gaming audience, and releasing the game now could have a huge impact on revenue and overall success.
This is why they postponed the mobile version, the campaign, and are not releasing any statement or official release date for console.
When is solo mode coming?
Solo mode was supposed to release this season, but due to a lack of players in Operation mode, they will release it mid-season, which is most probably next month. It also depends on the player base in Operation mode. This was revealed by Game Director Shadow in his last dev stream.
Where is Easy Mode Gear Cap?
Easy Mode Gear Cap was also supposed to be added this season. But due to technical errors, it will be added later—not sure if it’ll be this season or the next. The team is working on a fix. This issue also happened in the Chinese version, so they’re working to resolve it soon and add it to the game.
Controller support?
It will come with the console release.
Where is Death Cam?
Death Cam is for Operation mode only and, as it’s in beta right now, it will roll out slowly in some regions, like the Gear Back system if killed by a cheater. It will roll out to a few regions first to test the functionality and fix any bugs or errors, then it will be made available in all regions.
When will the Butterfly Knife release, and what’s the price?
The Butterfly Knife should be available next week, and the price will be 5200 Delta Tickets.
Any other bugs you encounter in the game will be fixed soon. The dev team always keeps an eye on community feedback. You can also report any bugs found via Discord.
Console release official date is not available yet, and I don’t want to give any expected dates right now. I hope we will hear something next month from the devs.
