★ ABOUT THE VIDEO:
In this video, we dive into Delta Force's future and whether it can thrive sans fresh game modes!
Smaller map modes such as Team Deathmatch or/and Domination, could be beneficial for Delta Force in the long run, especially when compared to anticipated releases like Battlefield 6.
Will it survive without new game modes?
Delta Force, formerly Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is a free-to-play first-person tactical shooter for PC, consoles, and mobile. It is part of the Delta Force series, previously developed and published by NovaLogic. The publishing rights were acquired by TiMi Studio Group. The group also develops the game under its development division TiMi-J3, known for developing Call of Duty: Mobile.
Originally titled simply Delta Force, and then amended to Delta Force: Hawk Ops, on August 20, 2024, the game's title was reverted to just Delta Force.
Players assume the role of military operators with unique abilities on the battlefield in an unnamed conflict set in present-day locations. Military vehicles like tanks and helicopters will be available for players to control, and players can customize their weapons and characters.
The multiplayer is free to play with optional micro-transactions, and developers have opted against pay-to-win elements, with a separate game currency for cosmetics. Aside from Havoc Warfare, a mode where teams are allocated tickets to win a game, it will also feature an extraction mode known as Hazard Operations. Player progression is largely shared across different platforms with some limitations.
