Deltarune Ribbit Mod Not Much Better Ending Full Game No Hit Run
9I always liked the Ribbit mod ever since I played it back in 2021, the level of polish is super high, the animations and comedy could compete with vanilla Deltarune ones, the music choice is very cool as well even though most of the music used is pre existing. The story was also interesting and overall it is one of the best Deltarune mods.
However there was already a big problem I could not ignore, and that is the balance and unfairness of the mod. I am aware it was made like that on purpose but I'm not a fan of it, I think instead of making it an extreme bullet hell that almost forces you to tank damage it was just a small hard mode. Anyways, after the 2.0 update and some patches a no hit run became realistically possible since in the genocide route you skip A LOT, most of the bosses and problematic parts are skipped and the hardest boss of the run (MANOS) went from barely being possible to no hit to being beatable in 3 turns, with only having 1 run ending attack which is the last one. Genocide route was the only choice here because of the boss skips and also the VeeReMia (also known as Dust Sword) which oneshots basically anything and makes the final boss only 3 turns.
I am very happy that after many years this run is finally possible and it's not unreasonably difficult either, I would say it's a little harder than Deltarune Chapter 2 Snowgrave No Hit, with most of the difficulty being in the final attack of the final boss.
