The original Vaporum was released in 2017 and I streamed a chunk of it on Twitch, back when streaming on Twitch was a thing I did (before my students found it and ruined the experience). The prequel, Lockdown, seems to follow the same formula: a single person party grid-based dungeon crawler (blobber) in a Steampunk setting that reminds you a bit of Bioshock at times. This is, in my opinion, a VERY GOOD THING as I really enjoyed the original.

Equipped with a fumium-powered exorig (I chose the gadget power-based Thauma Rig for this, just as I did in the original) your task is to solve puzzles, destroy rampaging enemies, and find out what has gone wrong with the gigantic tower of the Arx Vaporum — and escape!

Basically, if you loved the first game, this is more of the same PLUS new things.
