If you remember the first Annoying Orange VS. Mario Kart video, he esentially wiped out EVERY Mario Kart mainstay EXCEPT for Wario and Donkey Kong. This is probably why Mario Kart 9 seems unlikely to many.

Nearly A DECADE later, a sequel was made. Seeing Wario & Waluigi has me worried. I HOPE Donkey Kong isn't here. There's always hope for Donkey Kong Racing to get revived. Considering the significance Mr. Orange and Mario Kart have on the channel, I had to react!
