So naturally, with Ganondorf making his return to the Zelda series after being on ice for the last 17 years, I decided to bring back an old tradition I had of expanding on this wonderful villain. For the first time, he's been given an official voice by the immensely talented actor Matt Mercer. When I heard him speak in the prologue, I immediately knew that I'd give my take on that particular voice once I knew more about him in Tears of the Kingdom.

Some creative liberties have been taken in order to bring this monologue to life. The source of Ganondorf's power, to my knowledge, has not actually given him any clairvoyance or ability to see his other incarnations of the series. However, given that he is the source of the calamity that brought Hyrule to its knees, through nothing but sheer hatred, it's safe to say that this is Ganondorf at by far his most powerful. And with nothing but tens of thousands of years to fester under the surface of the kingdom he has repeatedly tried and failed to conquer, what could be a greater source of malice than the knowledge of his prior failures?

The monologue is both written and performed by me. Ganondorf and the Zelda series of course belong to Nintendo.
