1The Mortuary Assistant is a Psychological Horror game where the player plays as Rebecca Owens, an ex-drug addict working as an embalmer for Raymond Delver at River Fields Mortuary. The player will soon realize they are not working in an ordinary mortuary and that they are tasked with demonic banishment as well. Can the player continue to survive each night, even with the harrowing experience they have to go through? Or will they allow the demon to take possession of their body and submit to it?

Finally! After hoping that I get the correct RNG events, I was able to get the True Ending where Rebecca gets closure with her father who has passed. This is a very good character moment for her as she always has some form of self-hatred towards herself for being an ex-drug offender. Her father reassures her to give herself more love and to process her grief healthily. The demon tried to make use of Rebecca's guilt and self-hatred to make their demonic possession of her easier but thankfully, she always remember her father's love. It's that love that made her strong to face every demonic possession she almost had.
This is what we needed to hear sometimes when any one of us processes grief for a dead relative or friend. We put blame on ourselves and this makes us vulnerable to negative emotions. We simply couldn't think straight and we put an unnecessary burden on ourselves. Sometimes, we need the right people or the right words to remind ourselves that we can be strong and that we have to move on from this guilt. And I'm glad that The Mortuary Assistant has such a wholesome, happy end for Rebecca, who is a strong woman who remained adaptable and steadfast with the gruelling duty of demon banishment. It has been such a phenomenal experience and I'm very glad to have played this horror game with everyone! ^w^ ♡
