A budget game, with some dark and gloomy settings.
The author of this longplay, the mightiest and legendary Commodore 64 expert minotaurus, shows some stuff:

• at the very beginning you can main character basic moves and attacks (showing how that boomerang sphere works; the weapon is very useful during certain fights (to execute the move you have to press fire button and the desired direction, keeping both of them pressed, otherwise a normal attack will be performed).

• the first part of the game is a labyrinth: here you must look at the arrows in the bottom center of the screen.
if you notice, they are rotatating until you guess the right direction in the maze. You can understand that you are heading in the right direction, when they stop rotating.
To avoid wasting time making attempts, you can try to recover a special item, some sort of compass that will guide you.
Every time you play, this section will change.

• when you'll enter the castle, you will be wandering, searching for keys (that opens random door) and defeating enemies.

• [spoiler] you see the player dying twice: this was intended to show how fast your energy will be drained, if you don't keep in mind those poor collision or if you fail many attacks.

• later in the game, you can see the character entering the kitchen (18:55): this is the only spot where you can heal and as you can see it's totally random :D

• minotaurus wrote this note about the last boss: "When I fight the harpy, why do I go down and up the ladder? To show that the transformation sequence is repeated and to show that she doesn't regain her full energy! You could go back to the kitchen, recover energy and finish her later. In other words, the kitchen is the key to finish the game!"

As i said before, many many many many thanks to minotaurus85, the Commodore 64 expert (at least the most expert of his entire town :D), he recorded this longplay and explained me (many times because these type of games are a simple mess to me :D) what i wrote above ;)

This video is part of the videogame endings database, whose goal is to catalogue and create the world's largest archive of videogame endings! (what an humble and not ambitious project :D)
