101. Sqoon - This is another horizontal shooter (that goes from left to right) like Gradius. There's nothing much to say here (aside from DO NOT RUN OUT OF GAS). It's a decent enough shooter.
102. Snow Slacom (Slalom) - Is this another sport game? Why, yes, it is! Slalom for the NES is exactly that: a slalom game. You (as the skier) must ski on top of a mountain to try to get to the goal in time. There is one thing, though: the skier shows his/her bottom quite literally almost all of the time! I am not sure if skiers ski like that or not, but it is pretty funny. Oh, and try to avoid other skiers. It's a good game.
103. Dragon Fire (Fire Dragon) - Wait, isn't "Dragon Fire" the name of Goku's "Ultimate Attack" which was done on Hirudegarn)? Never mind....this game is actually called Fire Dragon. You (as a dragon) can eat fire! It's....alright, but I would not play it for too long. Plus, I got more games to cover.
104. Tetris II (Tengen Tetris) - Ah, this is one of my favorite Tetris versions. This version is easily the best out of the 3 NES/Famicom versions of Tetris. Like with Super Mario Bros, if you do not know what this is....look it up. I will say that this version of Tetris (the Tengen one) has more options than the other 2 or so versions of Tetris (on the NES/Famicom). It's good stuff.
105. 1942 - This is yet another "common" game that is put on bootleg multi-carts. It is the prequel to 1943 (nes). This is another port of the arcade version (of the same name). It is yet another vertical shooter (except that you fight in the WWII setting in this one). It is decent enough for a few playthroughs. Oh, and one other thing.....WHY does 1UP keep saying UP?
106. Lot Lot - This is another puzzle (on this multi-cart). You have to prevent the red ball from going into the "OUT" marker (otherwise you lose a life). You also have to score a certain amount of points to progress. It is a good enough game.
107. Fish War - This is a hack of Balloon Fight (which means that Balloon Fight will be on here at some point). I do not have anything to say about it.
108. Bomb Jack (Mighty Bomb Jack) - Oh, yes....this is a very good game. In this game, you have to collect Mighty Pills and break open treasure boxes to progress through the later levels. Be careful not to collect more than 9 Mighty Pills or more than 99 seconds - otherwise you will be sent to the torture room. (I believe you have to jump in a certain location (in X amount of times) to get out of the torture room).
109. Spelunker (w/1 life) - Oh no......do you remember that bootleg @$$h@le developer who hacked Ninja 3 (Ninja Hattori-Kun) to have one life? Well, the bootleg @$$h@le developer did it again - only this time the developer hacked Spelunker to have only one life. Now, granted, it wasn't a big deal in Ninja 3/Ninja Hattori-Kun (since that game is pretty decent and you gain extra lives in that game), but here, it is a VERY big deal. I mean, Spelunker is hard enough as it is.....WHY make it harder? Whatever.....it's a bad game made even WORSE by the bootleg developer's inability to care.
110. Mach Rider - This is a "3D" racing game (think Rad Racer with bullets and a bike and a football player and you will get the picture). There are three modes: Fighting Mode, Endurance Mode and Custom Mode. Fighting Mode is self-explanatory; Endurance Mode has you go around a set distance in a set amount of time; Custom Mode is also self-explanatory. This is a good game (and probably another common game too). I did endurance mode (for the sake of this video).
REPEATS: 2 (still the same, though I bet it will go up)
HACKS: 7 (due to Fish War being a hack of Balloon Fight and due to Spelunker having only 1 life (thanks idiot bootleg developers))
PIRATE ORIGINALS/BOOTLEGS: 3 (due to Dragon Fire (Fire Dragon) being a pirate original)
BROKEN PIRATE VERSIONS: 4 (still the same)
GLITCHY PIRATE VERSIONS: 3 (due to 1942 saying "UP" instead of 1UP)
This page is not too bad. True, Spelunker is kind of a bad game, but the rest of them (aside from Dragon Fire (Fire Dragon)) are decent to awesome.
See you later. Part 12 is up now - go watch it (if you have not already).
