479/23/2022 - After days long outage/issues, Battle.net appears to be working normally now - so far. I have tested installing Bnet clean as a non-Steam game, installed OW fresh. Please test yourself; leave comments if you're back up.

At the time of this emergency video, Battle.net was not functioning on Linux/Steam Deck.
This video will help you pull the files off your PC, copy them to a non-Steam game proton prefix and get Overwatch working again. This should work for other Blizzard.net games as well; but we're doing Overwatch here.
You must have a PC (with Battle.net and Overwatch installed) for this and the knowledge of getting files from your PC to your Deck. I won't cover that in this video (however you can see my 3 Minute SSH video that can help).
See below for where to find the files you'll see in this video. The video is pretty fast and I'm sorry it isn't up to my normal quality - but I'm trying to get people running again ASAP.

Try again. This SHOULD fix it.
Note: As the video says, you will not receive game updates via this method (that was one of Batte.net's jobs). If you find you cannot login (it may or may not tell you that you need an update), refresh the Overwatch game from your PC. Hopefully this is fixed before the next update (or OW2).
Location of Files on PC (these are default installer locations)
ProgramFiles - c:\programfiles (or you can put %programfiles% as a path to find this folder)
Application Data - %appdata% (this depends on the user - using the alias is the best way to find it)
Program Files (x86) - c:\Program Files (x86)
Overwatch - c:\Program Files (x86)\Overwatch
