He was asked by one of his fans on Instagram to play the theme from Mr. Dressup, a classic Canadian children's series from the 60s - 90s. He didn't know it so we played it to him during one of his live streams and he picked it up after a single listen. Improvising on new things by ear like this is one of Derek's favourite things to do.
