This is the mission that made me realise just how over powered the amulet of mind control is. It's basically the command spell, but without a saving throw and you can tell them to do more complex things. I use it a lot less from here, but that's not to say that I don't cheese my way around combat in other ways.

Also do you like to the title, it's a play on the phrase "Desperate times call for desperate measures", but with "Despair" in the first part since we went to the swamp of despair and "Abyssal" replacing the second "desperate" since we got the heart of the abyss. Get it! Of course you do because you're much smarter than me, but jokes are even funnier when explained.
