17177 and 98 meaning

7/17/17 and 9/8?

I don't think it's just a coincidence that the D1 Beta was also on 7/17...

People think the Beta will be on Bungie Day (7/7/17). I think this is wrong because for people that preorder the game get early access. This would mean Bungie would need to put employees in the office on July 4th..an American holiday.
