I have recently seen that slugs are not going to be part of the new meta but I do think they might still be usable in the new meta. Looks like fusion rifles and GL's are going to be the new meta but I guess only time will tell once this season is over and the next one starts. Since, according to bungie, they have plans to focus on crucible finally for an entire season which will be the next one, season 15. Hopefully the crucible gets better.
