Destiny 2's Lore and Story has seen the arrival of the new Skimmer vehicles. They were sent by a mysterious benefactor as a peace offering. It appears that the Concordat, one of Destiny's old exiled factions was the sender of these new skimmers. Whilst their leader Lysander hasn't been seen in years, he has a history of trying to turn the Guardians to his cause, which is even more worrying considering that he tried to overthrow the consensus many years ago.
