The Original Lighthouse from Destiny 1 was founded by The Cult of Osiris. It was a tall vex spire in the Caloris Basin on Mercury that Osiris and Sagira were studying. When the Cultists found them, Osiris told them not to follow and instead told them to study the spire until he returned. To assist them in their research, the cult set up The Trials of Osiris & allowed Guardians to claim great rewards from The Lighthouse.
