My strategy for the boss room is to clear most of the ads before taking down the wizard.

The boss dies from two thundecrash, but clearing the ads is the hardest part.

You can hide either in the back or at the start. I prefer the back as the enemies funnel nicely on each side.

Watch for the cannons shooting at you after you deal damage to the boss.

I used a pulse kinetic with unstoppable, eriana's for solar shields and barriers, SAW for arc shields.
(arbalest was not anti barrier then, that would now be my choice)
