I have done this countless times as it is very repeatable. Start by going through the basement and look up all the consumables. If you miss a few, come out through the other side (by the channel), then check each row for more consumable. While doing that you can take down isolated guards and check train cars for the correct ones (red glow inside). If you find a correct one, jump on and see if you can open it. If not just keep looking for the right consumable. The van escape is slower but still as hard as the boat.
