the Simulation survival quest is one that occurs on Europa. To grab it, Guardians will need to speak to the Beyond Light character Variks. However, to even gain access to the mission, players have to complete one called Old Secrets. Once this is complete, the repeatable Simulation survival becomes available.
Completing this mission depends on how strong your build is and how you manage the Biting Cold debuff. The Biting Cold debuff stacks up to 10 when you are away from a heat source like fire or triangles the enemies drop. When it reaches 10x stacks you will start to take chip damage and your health will not respawn. To deal with this debuff you have two options:
Shelter from the Storm: This buff reverses the effects of the Biting Cold debuff. When you are next fire this buff triggers, reversing the Biting Cold debuff.
Enemy Drops: Each enemy you kill drops a red pyramid item. When you pick up this item it lowers the Biting Cold stack by +2.
To complete the Simulation: Survival missions you need to complete a series of platforming sections while dealing with the Biting Cold debuff. This can be done by following the hearth path that is laid out. Use both the hearth and enemy drops to reach the vex structure above.
Destiny 2 latest season, Season of the Lost, is here, and it’ll need to keep Guardians occupied for the next six months. Season of the Lost is the final season ahead of Destiny 2’s The Witch Queen expansion, which Bungie revealed alongside Season of the Lost on Tuesday.
Season of the Lost promises some major changes to Destiny 2. Players will finally get their hands on cross play, anti cheat, a Trials of Osiris rework, and dozens of key balance changes. All of that also comes with the usual salvo of seasonal content.

Destiny 2 is a free-to-play online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Bungie. It was originally released as a pay to play game in 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows platforms. It became free-to-play, utilizing the games as a service model, under the New Light title on October 1, 2019, followed by the game's release on Stadia the following month, and then the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms in November 2020.
