Destiny Getting Microtransactions?! 18 New Emotes, Premium Currency and Free Content!

So it finally happened. Destiny is getting microtransactions. I was rather surprised by this but honestly I don't see the issue if we're just getting cosmetics dance emotes. We're getting a Premium Currency "Silver" which will be used to buy these new emotes and while we don't currently know the pricing structure i"m hoping it'll be fair and i"ll be sure to report back on it.
In return for these microtransactions we're getting most if not all future content free! No more expansions or paid DLCs *speculation at the current moment* but if it's true then I'm really looking forward to Destiny's future!
