1We all share the value and the desire to be accepted by our family, peers and society as a whole. But for some of us this desire comes with a high price. The perceived view that we all have to have a certain physical appearance in order to, fit in, and be worthy of love and acceptance, drives some people to develop an eating disorder to achieve this, mandate. The film, DeterminED, explores the story of one woman whose eating disorder became the lens through which she saw her world and how she is determined to fight for her recovery.
