Dev Progress Update 19 | Mega Man RPG Prototype (v2k23)
7I'm working on a 2023 update for the Mega Man RPG Prototype that will expand chapter one, add some much needed polish to certain parts of the game, and (my personal favourite) finally add some "camera action" to battles by zooming and panning around the canvas during attacks or other actions. It's very new, and very simple, and a bit buggy, but it's also a work-in-progress so we'll get there in time. Here's another test video showing my progress on the update so far.
This time I'm playing around with sound effects. Yes. I'm trying to take this responsibility seriously and polish it as much as possible before I release it to the public, but I'm SO excited to share it. Obviously we're not done yet as only certain menus have sound effects so far, but clear it's working and we're getting somewhere. Yay!
