Development Journal: Networked FPS Controller with Mirage CSP
This is a work in progress of converting a designed-for-single-player First Person Controller to support multiplayer using Client State Prediction techniques. In the video, a second player is connected on another device. Note that due to bugs, you can't move the camera and there's numerous other things that fixing.
This is using Mirage Networking and Mirage Client State Prediction (Mirage CSP). I am no longer using Mirror, and I am working with the Mirage team to test their CSP code thoroughly.
Eventually, it will be in a state that it can be used with my own shooter project, which is Codename Misfits.
