4State of Decay 2 is a sequel, as the 2 following the title makes clear to us.
As a sequel it gathers the best ideas of the first part and polishes them to add a very grateful and complete cooperative mode.
State of Decay 2 is a zombie game, but with a personality and a vocation very different from the rest. This title gives us action, looting, stealth and dangerous nights, but what makes it unique are its mechanics of simulation and administration of human communities during the zombie apocalypse. These mechanics will take us to conquer buildings, secure them and update them with different rooms and functionalities that will make life easier for us and the survivors we find.
The zombie typologies are the usual ones in the genre and that have been established as a model since the incredible and perfectly designed Left 4 Dead popularized them and that we have later seen in more zombie games like Dying Light, another great game with the core in action, parkour and with a first person perspective.
State of Decay 2 is a great game to play alone or with friends. Good design of its open world and good response of controls both on by foot and in vehicles.
