If you don't know what a reversal is, it's basically buffering a directional move and changing its direction to somewhere else other than the targeted enemy. While it doesn't seem like much, it has loads of evasive and stylish combo applications that expert players can use (which I don't consider myself BTW).

Reversals were a thing in Devil May Cry 4 and even in the Devil May Cry 5 demo, but Capcom removed those in the final game because players might do them "accidentally". Yeah...

This is coming from someone who was kind of indifferent about reversals to wanting to incorporate them into his gameplay. This short video is pretty much me practicing to get more consistent with reversals.
