Devotion is a deeply unsettling first‑person psychological horror game developed by Taiwan’s Red Candle Games, set in the early 1980s within a claustrophobic Taipei apartment. You explore the Du family’s modest home—mainly as the father, Du Feng‑Yu—across three years: 1980, 1985, and 1986. The apartment’s layout and decor shift over time: rooms are rearranged, objects age and accumulate, and the environment becomes more oppressive and surreal as the story progresses. Feng-Yu becomes increasingly desperate and turns to a cult and a fictional folk deity, Cigu Guanyin, believing in miracles. His obsession spirals into disturbing rituals.
