- First we have a player making a thread about successful raid screens.
Player states that the current screen is blank and it would be nice to see
all the items looted on that screen. The player provided 2 examples of
how the screen could look, one with all the items shown one by one and the
second with the item picture followed by a count.
Devs reply and ask if on average, if the loot is that varied and numerous
for the player who made the example. Devs state that on average they get 1-2 types of items from a raid and that the first example where items are
showcased one at a time would feel like more of an accomplishment. Overall the devs agree that loot should be shown on this screen, and it is noted.
Great idea and i think it should not be that hard to put into the game,
hopefully the devs add it since devs have added previously requested UI
changes.
- Second we have a player making a thread about weapon strength and
damage comparisons. Player states that weapons in your inventory that are
better than the weapon you have equipped should have shading or a symbol to show the player which weapon is better. The player states this can be
similar to how trading is done with the names being different colors to
specify a profit or loss.
The devs respond and state that the problem with this is that there is no
damage or damage over time value in the game, therefore there is no single
value to compare all weapons on. Also every weapon has very different stats, such as length that cant really calculate into damage and also different types of weapons.
Player then responds back and asks if this can be done for cases where
everything about a weapon is better than another.
Devs respond and state yes it is possible, and the devs will talk about it,
but no promises. Devs state that this would require each weapon to compare to every other weapon and also keep up with the constant changing of weapons that a player will do during a playthrough.
I think this would be a perfect opportunity for a mod creator to make a good
mod that would be downloaded by alot of players since the idea is good.
- Third we have a player asking the devs why it costs so much to start a
party with their brother, stating that a party with only their brother costs
2000 denars.
A dev responds and states he is not a fan of the current system in terms of
party wages but here is the breakdown: Party expenses(What player pays) is 5000 - party leaders money. If the leader has less than 5000 denars at the
end of the day, you pay the difference to get them to 5000. So the players
brother had 3000, so the player had to pay his brother 2000 to get to 5000
denars total.
Dev states that this is why there is sometimes huge wage costs because somedays parties buy food and expensive food at that. They are programmed to buy 80% grain or fish in terms of food supply.
Good explanation and clears up party wages for me, hopefully this helps
other players too.
- Fourth we have a player replying to the past dev response about party
wages and asks how wages normalize.
Same dev states that anything under 5000, player pays difference, then after the party is successful with battles and looting, the leader will pay the
parties wage with his profits. If the overall denars a party carries goes
over 10,000 denars, the players gets all the money above the 10,000 mark.
So if a party has 6-7K, they will pay wages and keep the rest, once a party
reaches say 12K after paying wages, they will pay the player 2K and keep
10K and everytime they have over 10K left, they will pay the player the extra.
Its an alright system, hopefully in the future we get more in depth features
like asking companions for extra denars when a player needs it, or to lower
the 5K requirement to something like 2-3K.
That is all the statements and replies for now and if anything new comes up, i will make a video and keep you guys informed.
Lastly i am going to end this video in the same way i ended most update
and dev talk videos, i want to thank the developers for staying active and
bringing good changes.
