Developed over the course of several years, CD Projekt Red made their science fiction game, Cyberpunk 2077, available on December 9–10, 2020, as a worldwide simultaneous release. The game has received both rave and highly critical reviews, for various reasons. Among these are claims about how the game treats diversity or marginalized people, a large number of bugs upon initial release (especially on XBox and Playstation), and the shortness of the main campaign in comparison to other RPGs (although there is a hefty number of side quests available).
There are many controls in the PC version of the game. W, A, S, and D are operative as expected when V is walking through the environment; when driving a car, W and S accelerate or decelerate the vehicle instead, with S backing the vehicle up from a complete stop. The mouse is used for targeting and shooting / attacking, while quick slots and additional keys are used for a large number of other in-game functions V can use in varying situations.
Welcome to the open world of the future. After many wars scarred lands across the world and broke nations into various pieces of their former selves, some bastions of civilization were reestablished, including the megalopolis known as Night City. As a large city with a large criminal element, inhabitants and visitors tend to be obsessed with power, glamour, and body modification. V, a mercenary outlaw who has begun coming into their own, decides to seek after the Fountain of Youth among implants: a one-of-a-kind creation that supposedly is the key to immortality. After having chosen V's background, attributes, and skill sets, it's time to enter the world and make wise choices in pursuit of eternal life. What will become V's fate? Let's play Cyberpunk 2077 and see together.
