Notes: All 3 characters are EX+3LB with their bloom passives. Cloud has his WoI passive
- Requirements: 210k, No KOs, clear within 125 turns, 15,000 or less damage
- Weak vs. Fire, Absorbs Ice, Immune to DEF Down/SPD Down/ INT BRV Down
- Puts up Resist Veil (0 HP until broken). Trigger if it breaks any of your characters.
- BRV Attacks: Ice Rock (SPD down, high turn upon breaking target), Hailstorm (SPD Up to self), Icicle Trust (group, Turn rate Down (5T),
- HP Attacks: Boreal Plunge (magic HP ATK), Icicle End (BRV Gain, Group magic HP ATK)
- Diamond Dust (summon gauge is full) - Removes all debuffs (except framed), BRV gain, group magic BRV. Applies Frostbite (no allies can act until Shiva's next turn), INT BRV down on allies, Frozen Crystal and INT BRV buff on itself. Follows up with Icicle End.
- Gain Auras at 80% and 50% (The cold permeates). Gains aura (The cold intensifies) before it is about to use Diamond Dust
Shiva will start off as one. Just damage it down to 80% and it will use Avatar (which dispel all debuffs and shift into 2 forms). In its 2 forms, it is the beginning of the real frustrating battle. The objective is to kill off one first so it is manageable. Have Celes Runic lock the Shiva to her. When you see the message "The cold intensifies" or It means Shiva is preparing to use Diamond Dust. Diamond Dust is unpreventable when Shiva uses it. Your character will lose their turn and forced to eat the HP from its Icicle Attack. Shiva has other attacks - Ice Rock, Hailstorm and Icicle Trust which all impact the speed element of the battle. Because of all these attacks, you will see Shiva gaining more and more turns.
Using this team is not optimal but it is still a safety team to use. Always have Y'shtola use Stone+ to shift turns and Medica II to BRV guard the party. Cloud's paralysis can help to elevate the load. Celes can attack as per normal since all her attacks have BRV cashback.
Always ensure that before Shiva uses Diamond Dust, the following conditions are met. Characters' HP and BRV are capped and Y'shtola EX is ready. This allows you to recover the damage from double Diamond Dust so that you can continue the battle without any KO. If circumstances are unfavorable, have Celes use her AA to lock both Shiva to herself. Try to save the AA for such situations.
Once both of them are 50% HP before they use their 2nd Diamond Dust, swap out Cloud for Agrias. Have her use AA and Judgment Blade for guaranteed paralysis or Hallowed Bolt (for magic BRV+HP damage negation). Deal out the damage and attempt to nuke 1 of the Shiva down. You can see in the video how many turns Shiva can get at the end of the battle. The skills will be running low. Do some careful consideration before you attack. Remember to BRV guard at all costs. The battle should be easier if I have used Ultimecia/Agrias instead of Cloud.
