Wave 2: King Behemoth x2 (completed on turn 73)
Wave 3: Sahagin Shaman x2 (completed on turn 100)
Score: 650k
This is my 68th WoL event CHAOS clear since the EX+ era begins. It should be just 70 CHAOS clear before he gets his LD. WoL is still running good for his shields buff and will be even better when he gets his LD and BURST in the coming month. His shield buff is good against in preventing massive BRV gain from the boss which is added to the party's framed debuff.
I could have done better in the turn count if I am not wasting a couple of turns to charge WoL's EX to heal up in wave 2. It is quite a safe run but it also shows that this stage has the need for high DPT requirements.
Wave 1: Necroraven
- You will fight this Phoenix type boss twice. Watch out for Dark Blast which could inflict Blind debuff.
- It has 2 modes - Low altitude (weak vs. Melee) and High altitude (recover BRV every turn). Use Nocturnal Saltation to move from low to high.
- It uses Magma Wave (BRV Gain, AOE HP) while on low altitude and Dark Hole (ST BRV+HP) while on high altitude. It has a couple of dark elemental BRV attacks that inflict DEF Down debuff (Dim Burst while in low altitude mode, Ash Venom while in high altitude mode)
- When you kill for the first time, it will use Reincarnation (removes non-framed debuffs and restore HP to max). Have Kefka use his LD before you kill it, you will lock his debuff on the boss
Wave 2: King Behemoth
- They buff themselves with Mighty Roar - DEF Up, HP Regen, Int BRV Up, ATK Up, MAX BRV Up, and BRV Regen). If you have Kefka, have him applied his debuff and lock his debuffs using his LD.
- Lightning Lash allows it to gain lots of BRV, so avoid party-wide BRV break or it will mess up your turn order.
- Its HP attacks are mainly Meteor (BRV Gain, AOE HP), Gyro Tail (BRV Gain, AOE HP) and Heave.
- Keep them debuff to minimize their turns and damage.
Wave 3: Sahagin Shaman
- One of them will use Supplication for Grace unless you can lock your debuff or inflict framed debuffs you can avoid waste debuffs as they will cleanse themselves with the buffs (INT BRV Up, ATK Up, DEF Up, SPD Up, Enfeeblement Up),
- Keep them debuffed or they will use the + variant of their abilities - Water Cannon+ (INT BRV, DEF, ATK Down), Sahagin Jump+ (ATK Up buff active)
- Heavenly Bolt hits harder when it has more buffs. Debuff them to mitigate that.
- Uses Erdgeist's Power (INT BRV Gain, AOE BRV+HP, inflicts Turn Rate, and Max BRV Down). Beware of it uses Multiskewer (BRV+HP) when it recovers break.
