DFFOO GL - Let Her Solo Them! #8 - Shelke Lost Chapter LUFENIA+

Freya is coming back to Lufenia with a vengeance! In this series of videos, I aim to showcase that with her LD, Freya is capable of solo'ing all permanent Lufenia content and most Lufenia+ content. This means that if you are a new player, Freya allows you to clear a lot of content with a far smaller roster than should be expected of you, allowing you to start catching up on content. This is due to a combination of her general survivability skills, strong damage, and her unique ability to dodge Orbs.
Friend units are allowed in this series but I try to show where she can beat stages without one where I can, which is the case for most of the regular Lufenia. Calls will also be used but Cater CA is the most useful call overall, something you don't even have to pull for. Her LDCA is helpful too if you have it, though.
Skipping forward in time a bit to tackle the latest Lufenia+!
I originally did a run with Freya/Shelke/Cor with no friend unit which worked perfectly fine and was gonna upload that, but then I hit on the idea to do this and it actually beat the turn count on that run haha.
Doing a solo run with Freya here is pretty easy given that the boss really isn't that threatening without it's little minion, and the minion pulls the boss' turns forward every time it acts, which is good for Freya hanging out in the air. The boss has near perfect evasion at the start, and will wipe you if you let it get a turn...except if you're a lone airborne Dragon Knight who can't be touched in the air, that is. So you can just S2 into AA at the start, jump, and avoid the attack from the boss while it's purple aura is up. The boss then actually loses it's purple aura and can be attacked as normal again, and the minions go down pretty fast.
After Freya lands for the first time, I summoned Emperor to just burst down some damage on the boss, which took be all the way to the second minion spawn and allowed me to chew through most of it's HP.
From there it's pretty straightforward. The main boss is quite weak without the minion who normally gives it big BRV Gains for HP dumps. It will only BRV attack unless it can get it's BRV really high,, but it has very weak BRV potency for a Lufenia+ boss, only doing about 3K - 4K BRV damage to Freya here. She can easily avoid breaks by using High Jump or Jump after landing from descending Dragon. The rest of the fight is just avoiding getting broken as much as possible, and using Brothers summon and LD uses to deal with the minions when they are around. If the boss does manage to build up enough BRV to want to HP attack, Freya's Last Stand will protect her.
Since the boss isn't actually that threatening when it's on it's own, I went with Lulu LDCA instead of Cater LDCA (my usual go to for solo runs) because it made dealing with the Orb a non-issue for certain stretches of the fight. This boss only depletes the Orb by 1 on it's own turns instead of the usual 2, so it makes it a bit easier to just wait through it's attacks so Freya can get to 3 stacks in time and jump right before it goes off.
While it will be a while before I start uploading legacy Lufenia+ solo runs, this is I think my 14th or 15th Lufenia+ solo I've done and recorded with Freya.
