A Global First fight. The orb for this fight a dispel orb, + 12, with a cap of 15.

The orb disappears at 50% so if you can get the boss down below 50% before the orb pops, you don’t need to bring a dispeller.

The buffs are extremely potent, so a dispel might be handy anyways. If you’re not interested in pulling for Vanille, Paine is a very good unit who can dispel on her LD, so she should be able to manage the orb.

Watch out, as if you let the Penelo Manakin act before killing it once, it will cast its LD.

My party just rushed down the fight. Machina BT+ is so broken, it let me completely bypass the orb. One thing I could have done to improve the run was to have a Keiss call for the extra battery instead of Gabranth.
