DFFOO JP - Transcendence 15 (Middle Gate)
5I actually wanted to use Edgar in the final gate, but I did have Cid Raines free, so I used him instead. This gate is an interesting one, since you have to get this things HP down in a certain number of turns: 69% in 20 turns, 29% in 40 turns and kill them in 60 turns, with the overall turn count being 40.
I tried to clear this the first time, only to encounter a bug where one stayed at 59% and it couldn't die, which sucked. After they reach 29% of their HP, they will HP regen up to about 48% and this is triggered individually. Rem is not needed for this tier, since I had Aerith, I wanted to use her. One thing I noticed is that they can buff themselves too, and because Aerith was there, she could prevent that from happening. I was nervous to see if Cid would be able to finish them off, but he did!
