The idea that makes this game different is that you have an inventory and you are entering a dungeon. It will have to be seen if it gets the balance of roguelike mechanics and twin stick action gameplay right though.

I personally didn't like how the dash mechanic is setup, wasn't too keen on the idea that you have to clear 'everything' on a floor before proceeding, and the minimap didn't really denote walls that well either. The time limit might also be a strike against it as well, but the full game would have to reveal this to be the case or not. Despite the flaws, it looks like something good could be here.
