Diablo 2: Resurrected | Quick Review: Looks and Feels Good but LAN/Mods are sorely missed.
4If you've never played diablo 2, Resurrected is gonna be amazing. Gear is a little stingy, self found runs can be pretty rough, Sorc is still the best for a fresh start, but diablo 2 is one of the greatest games of all time. But, removing LAN/mods shortly before release really hurts it. Now you have to rely on slow ass blizzard to continuously screw up stuff. Terror zones are a pretty good step in the right direction, but its definitely not project diablo or zy-el.
Positives
- Great graphics, HDR, framerates
- Terror zones in season 2 open up the opportunity to get levels and gear faster.
- battlenet 2.0 is pretty fast and cooperative.
- D2 on consoles!
Negatives
- No LAN play BOOOOOOO!
- massive character/skill imbalance
- loot like high level runes are too rare for self found
